The Tribal Cap is a unique piece characterized by its texture, its shape and its provocative nature. The techniques used make each piece unique from one another.
The idea of making a tribal shaped cap came from the ongoing trend in fashion where items are stripped of their initial purpose. This cap was created as a critique to this phenomenon, where focus is put on looks rather than practicality. Everyone is part of this "problem". This is why we decided to render a normal cap useless from its original purpose. A radical, but unique transformation.
This cap was covered with a rubber-like material coated with varnish for a glossy look and better durability. We used various techniques to obtain this final look, such as hand painting, hand sewing and machine cutting. The hat features a clipping system and fits most head sizes. Our eye logo can be found on the front part.
This is a made on order piece. To allow for reasonable shipping times we only sell a few at a time.
Expect at least 2-3 weeks for production before shipping.
